It also takes much more detergent than store-bought detergents to clean out oily dishes. It leaves behind a translucent white film with dry spots. But I don't find it to be soapy enough to actually clean my hands when they're actually dirty.ДЇor dish detergent, I use 1:4 Bronner's to water, and using it on my stainless steel cookware has been a disaster. On cleanish hands (like after wiping the bum), it does a fine job. But the soap doesn't do that great at getting my visibly dirty hands clean. I'm using a decent foam pump for the hand soap, which is 1:10 Bronner's to water. Bronner's soap after hearing so many good things about it here, however I was immediately disappointed by its performance as a hand soap and dish detergent.
